About the Artist

I’m Deborah Abbott, multimedia artist & multidisciplinary art educator. This story begins with a simple desire to reduce the environmental impact I have in my creation process.

My process involves turning otherwise discarded materials into multidimensional, detailed works of art. An ongoing learning process of creating layer-by-layer without the use of paint or conventional mediums. Each piece is designed to highlight how much beauty can be found in our otherwise overlooked waste stream.

My mission is to give my students, artists, and everyone creative the knowledge of how they can do the same.
